Great Basin Youth Soccer League

GBYSL and the clubs/teams will start selling Entertainment Books starting August 22nd.  These books will be $20 and contain valuable coupons as well as on line discounts. The profit will be split evenly with the clubs/teams.  Money the league makes will be used for the new field(s) at South Valleys. We need $500,000 for a new field. This program will end September 18th.  Prizes for top sellers, teams and coaches. We are asking each player to sell 5 books.  Details to follow.

Run for Education was founded in 2005. Its goal: to build a better future for our children by assisting the Washoe County School District fund educational programs within the school district and bring awareness to child fitness. 100% of the funds generated through the registration and sponsorship of the Run will directly benefit the children in the Washoe County via the Education Alliance of Washoe County. Since its inception five years ago, the Run for Education has raised $880,000 for local schools and students.  Since 2005, schools have received over 90 mini-grants as a direct benefit .  Since the Run was initiated more than 2000 students have been assisted.

Eric and Mike Shirley of Double Diamond Athletic Club and Parisi Speed School are offering all players of GBYSL the following;
SESSIONS ARE 1 HOUR LONG WORKING ON SPEED,     
ENDURANCE, AND AGILITY AND INJURY PREVENTION.
