How It Works

A clear process with set timelines

The same steps apply to every club and independent team in the GBYSL Select league.

Committee review
The Select committee reviews every new case and may follow up with questions.
Within 2 days
Other team responds
For violation reports that move forward, the other team and its club are notified and can give their side.
5 days to respond
Decision
The committee decides and emails everyone involved. The outcome is posted to the case log without names.

Referee assault and abuse fall under U.S. Soccer Policy 531-9, with set minimum penalties. Read the policy summary →

What stays private

Your name, contact details and the report itself go only to the Select committee and, for violation reports, the other team and its club. The public log never shows names, teams or clubs.
